E-Blast: Training for Adoption Competency -- Seeking Participants

August 4, 2016 4:21 PM

Dear Providers:

Training for Adoption Competency is an evidence-informed training program that provides licensed mental health professionals with the knowledge, skills, and values needed to provide adoption-competent mental health services to their clients. There is a group of professionals currently participating in Georgia's first TAC class. TAC is recruiting for a comparison group to be a part of the evaluation of this program.

If you hold a master's degree or higher in social work, a counseling field, or another related discipline, are a licensed clinician, and have worked with birth, adoptive, and/or kinship families in a clinical setting, you may qualify to participate in this paid opportunity. For details on qualifications and the application process, please review the flyer posted to GA+SCORE.

Thank you.
