CHRIS 180 has partnered with The Office of Provider Management to conduct training on "Understanding and Working with LGBTQ Youth and Adults” for our RBWO Providers. The one-day, 6-hour training will help participants to:

• Understand common language/terminology and concepts including the identity continuum
• Identify issues of risk, challenge and trauma specific to work with LGBTQ youth and young adults
• Learn strategies to manage personal beliefs with professional responsibilities
• Understand their role and how to be supportive of LGBTQ youth
• Understand best practices for working with LGBTQ youth
