E-Blast: IV-E PIP Requirements -- IMMEDIATE ACTION

March 24, 2017 12:43 PM

Good afternoon,

The Office of Provider Management conducted a total of five (5) Safety Screening Webinars on February 22 and March 1 of this year. During this webinar, your agency was instructed to complete and upload a Quality Assurance Plan and the five (5) required Safety Screenings (i.e., Sex Offender Registry, Pardons and Paroles, Department of Corrections, Child Abuse Registry and OIG) by March 17, 2017 on all RBWO staff. As of today, your agency's Quality Assurance Plan (QAP) and/or the required Safety Screenings are missing for one or more sites.

  • Quality Assurance Plans should be uploaded under the orange Profile tab for each site.
  • Safety Screenings should be uploaded under the purple Profile tab for each staff member listed on your orange Staffing screen with an OPM Role other than N/A. (To view a list of staff currently missing checks, run the report "Staff Safety Checks" under the orange Reports tab.)
  • More information about the process is available at https://www.gascore.com/content/page.cfm/443/.
Please note that this has serious implications with the Division meeting the IV-E requirements.

Per our meeting Wednesday with Director Cagle, your agency has until close of business on Friday, March 24, 2017 to have each document uploaded. This is your second notice. If not, your agency will be placed on an admission suspension. An admission suspension means that your agency will not be able to accept any new placements as of March 25, 2017 and until further notice. If there are any questions about IV-E, policy requirements, or suspensions, please contact your Monitoring Manager. If you have questions about how to submit required documents to GA+SCORE, please email support@gascore.com.

Thanks,

The Office of Provider Management
