The Georgia Division of Family and Children Services (DFCS) will be hosting Operation Home Run - 5K Fun Run/Walk for Foster Care Awareness on Saturday, June 24, 2017 at 9:00am. The race will be held at Stone Mountain Park located at 1000 Robert E. Lee Boulevard, Stone Mountain, Ga. This 5K is a fun family-friendly event to support the Division’s mission to strengthen families for a stronger Georgia. With over 13,000 kids in care, this race is also being held as an opportunity to raise awareness about the critical need for foster caregivers in Georgia.
