E-Blast: Life Coach Training

November 29, 2017 5:23 PM

Dear TLP/ILP Providers,

Back by popular demand is our Life Coach Certification Training!!!  This year we are excited about partnering with GA RYSE (formally known as our State ILP Program) to offer this training on December 14, 2017.

The NFL and College football playoffs are so eagerly upon us, and therefore I ask you…….Are you ready for some football? The long anticipated Life Coach Training is here! This year’s training will be in the theme of “Coaching our Youth for Success.” Uniforms are required, so please suit up before game time and wear your favorite team shirt/jerseys or colors.

Specialty RBWO programs providing Independent Living and/or Transitional Living Programs or Maternity and Parenting Support Programs are required to have Life Coaches who have attended a certification course. Life Coach Certification is a one-day training facilitated in partnership with GA RYSE Program and the Office of Provider Management. Certification includes a review of state IL policies, programs and applicable RBWO Standards. This training is not an annual requirement, therefore, if you have already attended your certification is still valid. Due to limited space we are unable to accommodate participants not required to attend this training.

For more information on Life Coach training requirements, please review the FY 2018 RBWO Minimum Standards under Transitional Living, Independent Living and Maternity and Parenting Support Programs.

The certification course will be held:
December 14, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
The Georgia Public Safety Training Center (GPSTC)
1000 Indian Springs Drive
Forsyth, GA 31029

Please be advised that participants are required to attend the entire training to obtain the 8-hour training certification certificate.

Thank you.
