E-Blast: DFCS County Youth Development Series -- Thursday, March 1 (Decatur)

Dear Providers:

The Georgia Division of Family and Children Services, Well-Being Services Section’s Community Programs Unit is hosting a County Youth Development Series across the state of Georgia. The purpose of the County Youth Development Series sessions is to provide information and resources to our local community partners (non-profit organizations, school systems, faith-based organizations etc) about the programs and services provided through the Community Programs Unit.  The sessions will be held across the state during the evening from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM. Our next session is in Decatur on Thursday, March 1. More information is available in the flyer.

During the session, you will have the opportunity to learn about various programs that provide youth development and youth-focused programming and services. These programs include the:

  • DFCS Afterschool Care Program
  • Educational Programming, Assessment and Consultation (EPAC)
  • Georgia TeenWork Internship Program

Who Should Attend: The evening Community Informational sessions are for community partners and organizations within the local community who may be interested in providing services to the youth within their communities.
