UGA First Look is a special visitation program for select high school students and their guest(s) for 10th thru 12th grade students. EMBARK Georgia, in conjunction with the Office of Admissions and Embark@UGA, is hosting this exciting event to offer you a glimpse into what opportunities await you in Athens. EMBARK Georgia is a statewide network of support for youth who have experienced foster care and/or homelessness and are enrolled or interested in attending any postsecondary educational institution in Georgia. For more information about Embark Georgia, please visit www.embarkgeorgia.org. We are hosting this event targeted toward youth who are either in foster care or experiencing homelessness.

The day will include a kickoff with admissions, an academic panel with current students and faculty, a tour of historic north campus and UGA's nationally ranked facilities, a resource panel of available academic departments, and information on admissions and scholarships. Students invited will also have lunch, on us, in one of our national award-winning dining halls. Dine with the staff of Admissions, students and members of the university community. Whether this is your first visit to campus or you are visiting again, we welcome you to come enjoy a day on the beautiful University of Georgia campus. Come and experience the history, tradition and opportunities of the first publicly chartered university in the United States.  

This event is free for invited participants and their guests. This is an invitation-only event. Please limit guests to 3. Invited students should register with their information only. If a sponsor is registering on behalf of the student, please fill in the student's information and put yourself as the additional contact. A meal ticket is provided for invited students and guests are encouraged to experience our dining halls at their own expense.
