This policy is effective December 2018 and also available on the Online Directives Information System (ODIS) at http://odis.dhs.ga.gov/Main/Default.aspx under manuals, Division of Family and Children Services and Child Welfare.  Please direct any questions related to policy or practice through your regional Field Program Specialist to the Policy and Regulations Unit at PPPDUNIT@dhs.ga.gov. 

 

Also, please review the Child Welfare Services Memorandum No. 2019-01: New Resources Available in the Child Welfare Policy Manual, detailing changes to the Child Welfare Policy Manual. Please direct any questions related to updates to the Child Welfare Policy Manual to the Policy and Regulations Unit at PPPDUNIT@dhs.ga.gov.
