E-Blast: Free Training Opportunity: Connected Caregiver Trainings 2019

Dear Providers:

Georgia’s Personal Responsibility Education Program (GA-PREP) is pleased to host a series of 2-day trainings designed to help adults become a “Connected Caregiver”.

  • Day 1: Talking to Teens About Sex & Healthy Relationships
  • Day 2: Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children (CSEC)/Beyond Cultural Competency: Working with Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer & Questioning (LGBTQ) Youth

These trainings have been designed specifically for foster parents, CCI and CPA caregivers, case managers and supervisors.  This year Georgia PREP will be hosting three Connected Caregiver Trainings (Metro Atlanta, Macon, GA and Albany, GA). Through funding from the Georgia Division of Family and Children Services PREP program, these trainings are being offered for FREE for the first 50 registrants. Lunch will be provided.

**14 hours of Training Credit will be provided**      *Please note participants must be available to attend BOTH days of training.*
