E-Blast: GA+SCORE Updates: Foster Home Compliance - CORRECTION!

January 21, 2020 5:56 PM

Dear CPA Providers:

**CORRECTION - SEE BELOW**

The GA+SCORE updates discussed at the CPA Partnership Meeting 11/18/19 -- including the checks for Pertussis screenings -- are now live in the system.
  • Primary & secondary caregivers must have a CPR and First Aid screening in GA+SCORE at the time of the initial approval. Unlike other medical & safety checks, these records CAN be older than one year, but cannot be expired.
  • Primary & secondary caregivers must have a pertussis immunization record in GA+SCORE at the time of the initial approval IF the home is being approved to accept children under 12 months under 2 years old. As for CPR and First Aid, this screening can be older than one year but cannot be expired. The pertussis immunization is reported on the green Members >> Medical Checks screen.
    • If you entered a pertussis screening for a foster parent this week and did not enter the expiration date, please email support@gascore.com with the person ID and expiration date of that check. We will update the record for you. A missing expiration date will not prevent you from submitting the initial approval.
For more information on those changes, including screenshots, please consult the PowerPoint file linked here: https://www.gascore.com/content/?ebid=3271&lst.

If you have questions about policy, reach out to OPM following the protocols in yesterday's email "OPM Pilot: Resource Development Duty Calendar". If you have questions about GA+SCORE, contact us at support@gascore.com.

Thank you.
