Online instruction, to some degree, may be here to stay for a while. Students and parents have had to quickly become accustomed to virtual learning. In partnership with Georgia Department of Education and the Division’s Education Programming, Assessment and Consultation Unit will offer caregivers ideas on ways to help students manage and make the most out of the online environment. There will also be tips for caregivers when they feel their child needs additional academic or emotional support.
During this session we will cover important topics such as, how to engage the child during the lesson; when the child experiences difficulty; resources for caregivers and youth; and special education-the benefits of an IEP or 504.
