Joint Planning Meeting with Young Leaders

Engaging Youth with Opportunities and Career Exploration

On Tuesday, March 23, 2021 (10 AM), the Georgia Division of Family and Children Services (DFCS) Permanency and Well-Being Services Sections will be hosting its first Annual Progress and Services Report (APSR) Joint Planning meeting that will be led by young leaders. These young leaders represent youth councils from several organizations that support and advocate for youth and young adults within Georgia's foster care system.

During this meeting, we will be discussing how 'Engaging Youth with Opportunities and Career Exploration' assists young people as they navigate and transition into independence. We invite you to join us in this landmark event that will allow participants to listen to the voice of youth and young adults and to jointly engage in conversation and strategy in this area of support.
