Dear Providers:

You are invited to a very special statewide virtual author event called 'A Day to be Brave!' Please share this opportunity and the flyer with caregivers.

Georgia Division of Family and Children services has partnered with author/illustrator Angelique Monet of The Bravest Worrier to bring her author event ‘A Day to be Brave’ virtually to Georgia’s foster families December 4th & 5th. This event is open to all children in foster care between the ages of five and thirteen.

‘A Day to be Brave’ author event will be full of wonder and excitement!  Angelique Monet, who was also in foster care, will be hosting and delivering an inspirational message about having courage and hope. You will have an opportunity to hear her read her story, The Bravest Worrier. Angelique will give you a behind the scenes tour of her studio. You will also meet Special Guest Mr. Z who created The Bravest Worrier augmented reality app that makes The Bravest Worrier book come to life. Georgia’s foster children will complete their explorer's journey by discovering the hidden secrets of the Worry monster, and much more.
