E-Blast: CPA Survey: Caregiver Criminal Records Check

October 6, 2022 4:38 PM

Dear CPA Providers:

The Division is gathering information about the current practices of our CPA partners, as it relates to the fingerprint criminal records check requirement.  Resource Development policy requires that a fingerprint-based criminal history records check of the National Crime Information Center (NCIC) database is conducted on all applicants and their adult household members (age 18 years and older) before the applicants can be approved for placement of a child.  In addition, a fingerprint-based criminal history records check (CRC) of the National Crime Information Center (NCIC) database is required to be completed on all caregivers and adult household members at least every five years from the date of the Initial Family Evaluation.

Please fill out the survey below by October 21, 2022, as we gather information on this process.
