Please read below about a personal invitation to join us at the 12thAnnual DHS Charity Golf Tournament. As I am retiring from DFCS effective 2/29/16, I am passing the DHS Charity Golf Tournament responsibilities over to Adrian Owens. Adrian is the Director of the DFCS Social Services Administration Unit. It has been a pleasure coordinating this event for the last 10 years and meeting many folks I would have never otherwise. I sincerely appreciate the support that you’ve afforded over the years and ask that you continue to support the needy children in the State’s custody. I’m asking that we up the ante this year, somehow hitting an all time record in net proceeds. Any and all contributions (cash and/or auction items) will be most appreciated.

Hello,
It's that time of year again, we are getting ready for the Annual DHS Charity Golf Tournament. Monday, April 25th will mark the 12 year anniversary of this worthwhile and enjoyable event. Last year, proceeds from the tournament afforded us the ability to contribute more than $4,500 for Christmas gifts to DFCS foster children. Let’s break the all-time record this year, needing only $6,000 to achieve that goal.
We will be returning to Newnan Country Club for the eleventh straight year. It is a great venue for our tournament and we cannot find a better price/value anywhere else and still provide gifts for our kids. We want to continue to grow the tournament, not only to increase the contributions we receive in support of DFCS foster children at Christmas, but to increase fellowship and camaraderie within DHS and with others who participate.
