Amerigroup Community Care has an upcoming webinar next month about trauma. This webinar will discuss how to be aware of the major immediate and long term neurodevelopmental effects of fetal alcohol exposure, the signs associated with adverse developmental impacts of intrauterine exposure to cocaine, methamphetamine and heroin. In addition attendees will better understand the mechanisms of abusive head trauma, as well as the short and long term adverse effects of this type of maltreatment. This training is appropriate for all staff and stakeholders, and there will be CEUs for some licensure types.
