Dear CPA Providers,

DFCS in collaboration with Children's Healthcare of Atlanta and the Stephanie V. Blank Center for Safe & Healthy Children presents a trauma-focused facilitator training. This 2-day training will provide participants with core concepts regarding child trauma and the role of caregivers using the Resource Parent Curriculum Training. Upon completion of this training, participants will have the necessary tools to provide education to caregivers in understanding children through a trauma lens and the ability to assist caregivers in learning ways to reduce the stress of parenting a traumatized child and improve the outcomes for children in foster care. This session is designed for Resource Development staff and Foster Parent trainers.
