Reasonable and Prudent Parent Standards and Youth Rights and Responsibilities Training

Effective October 1, 2015, The Child Welfare and Child Support: The Preventing Sex Trafficking and Strengthening Family Act (P.L 113-183) will be enforced. OPM Training Department will be providing training opportunities for CPA and CCI staff regarding the implementation of this new policy. This two-hour workshop supports the dissemination of information on the federal and state law requiring implementation of the reasonable and prudent parenting standards and youth rights. It introduces participants to the supporting child welfare policy, key definitions, implementation expectations and resources to gain a more in-depth understanding of the topics. Webinar and classroom trainings will be offered for the month of September and October 2015 for staff. Please select ONE session to attend.
