FFY2018 Promoting Safe and Stable Families Program
DFCS Statement of Need

Georgia Division of Family and Children Services is pleased to announce the release date of a funding opportunity for family-serving, non-profit agencies and public entities through its Promoting Safe and Stable Families (PSSF) program. PSSF provides funding for community-based services to children and families who may be at risk for child abuse and neglect or have had confirmed reports of child abuse and neglect and are involved with the state’s child welfare agency.

PSSF Statement of Need (SoN) Release: Wednesday, March 22, 2017
Statement of Need detailing application guidelines, proposal, and contract requirements for FFY2018 will be posted and available for download at www.pssfnet.com under the Funding Opportunities tab.

Mandatory Bidders Meeting: Tuesday, March 28, 2017

All agencies interested in submitting a proposal for FFY2018 PSSF funding MUST send a representative to the Bidders Meeting. Applicants are required to submit proposals electronically. Usernames and passwords used to upload proposals will only be available at the Bidders Meeting.

Technical Assistance: March 28 – April 7, 2017
Information on requesting technical assistance will be included in the SoN document and communicated at the Bidders Meeting.

Submission Deadline: Tuesday, April 25, 2017, 12:00 NOON EDT
Proposals must be submitted electronically, as directed in SoN, and received in their entirety by the deadline.

Contract Period: October 1, 2017 – September 30, 2018
