As many of you know, we began executing the Structured Analysis Family Evaluation (SAFE) Home Study model in a few of our DFCS Regions and with some of our Private Agency Partners this past December.  SAFE is a home study methodology offered by the Consortium for Children (CFC) that provides a suite of comprehensive home study tools and practices for the description and evaluation of would-be foster or adoptive families.  We are now working to begin training our remaining DFCS Regions, Providers, and Contractors beginning March 2018 (dates listed below).

We will be hosting webinars on the following dates to discuss the transition to SAFE and what that would mean for your area.  Please share this information with staff who may be directly or indirectly affected by this transition.   

We will offer trainings by District and will need your support in hosting trainings.  If are willing to host a training the meeting space will need:

• To accommodate at least 40 participants
• Projector and large screen
• Whiteboard or Flip Chart Paper with easel
