E-Blast: GA+SCORE updates: significant event reporting

May 8, 2019 1:49 PM

Dear Providers:

Please be aware of some changes to the significant event screens in GA+SCORE. These changes help OPM's risk managers work with you to produce timely and accurate significant event reports. They do not affect the state's deadlines for reporting events.

What's new:
  1. Significant events are still reported on the orange Risk Management >> Significant Events screen. However, when you add a significant event, GA+SCORE will take you to a new screen containing the details of the record. You'll report the involved foster youth, foster parents, and/or staff on that new edit screen, rather than using pencil icons on the screen with the list of significant events.
  2. To edit a significant event, click on the significant event to return to this new screen.
  3. If OPM reviews your report and needs additional information, the person who entered the report and the director listed on your program's orange Profile >> Contact Info screen will receive an email. You can see the details of OPM's request by clicking on the significant event and looking at the top of the new edit page.
  4. Once you have updated your record with the requested information, click the "Save & Submit" button at the bottom of the screen; GA+SCORE will email OPM to let them know changes have been made. You can save the record with the "Save" button as often as you like but no email will be sent until you click "Save & Submit". When the email has been sent, the screen will refresh with the "Latest Resubmission Date" displayed at the top.
If you have questions about when to report a significant event, what to include in a report, the details of a request for more information, or other aspects of policy, please contact your OPM monitoring team.

If you have questions about using these new screens in GA+SCORE, contact Care Solutions at support@gascore.com.

Thank you.
