Greetings RBWO Providers,
Please be advised that The Office of Provider Management (OPM) along with the Divisions’ Safety Unit (CPS/CPSIS) are making continual efforts to formulate a temporary process that is most efficient and simplified for the completion of CPS/CPSIS screenings for caregivers and staff. As you know, for staff or potential staff in a designated RBWO role, you should submit those requests via GA+SCORE following the process in this eblast.
However, for individuals that are NOT currently in a designated RBWO role (such as janitors, groundkeepers, pest control, volunteers) the following interim process has been adopted effective immediately:
- Complete a copy of this spreadsheet when requesting a screening for Non-RBWO staff in lieu of submitting a screening request on the GA+SCORE portal.
- Email the completed sheet to Ami Perryman at Ami.Perryman@dhs.ga.gov and Alexa Atherley at Alexa.Atherley@dhs.ga.gov. In the email, please be sure that you include the general purpose of the screening (i.e., pre-employment screening, annual employment screening, etc.).
- The results will be provided within 10 business days. Please be advised that the spreadsheet will indicate “yes” or “no” regarding the status of the applicants’ substantiated Child Protective Services history as a summary of CPS history will not be provided at this time.
