In partnership with Georgia CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) and Twin Cedars Youth and Family Services, the Educational Programming, Assessment and Consultation (EPAC) Unit will be hosting a virtual Statewide Education Academy on Thursday, August 20, 2020 at 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM. During this Academy, participants will learn more information about: 1) Educational “best practice” guidance within our Child Care Institutions (Group Homes) and how to utilize the internal and external resources to best serve youth; and 2) Special Education provisions and considerations for youth in foster care.
