Dear CPA Providers:
Once a CPA is flagged in GA+SCORE as approved for SAFE, the screens for the Initial Approval and Re-Evaluation change to reflect the additional files required for this process. Note that ALL homes are affected, including homes that were already in progress. However, it remains possible to submit a non-SAFE initial approval or re-evaluation using these screens as described in the "GA+SCORE SAFE Updates" presentation from the CPA Partnership meeting in June.
On the Initial Approval and Re-Evaluation screens, you will see two lists of files. In the section "Required documents for SAFE Homes", you will see SAFE-specific names for files with existing non-SAFE equivalents, such as the Financial Statement for Resource Parenting (i.e., Form 44). In the following green-highlighted section, "Additional documents", you will see new, SAFE-specific files, such as the Harvesting Sheet. All files are listed together under the link to "Upload new file".
If you are submitting a SAFE assessment: Upload all files listed under "Required documents for SAFE Homes" and all files listed under "Additional documents". Note that GA+SCORE will not verify that those "Additional documents" are uploaded; you should check your records for completeness prior to clicking "Save and Submit".
If you are submitting a non-SAFE assessment: Upload all files listed under "Required documents for SAFE Homes" using this guide to match old and new names for these documents. Leave the section "Additional documents" blank; GA+SCORE does not require them in order to submit the home.
Expect revisions to simplify this process when all CPAs are SAFE Certified.
